This pod is hand-coiled with a pink grogged stoneware clay which I have hammered into creating a rough, pockmarked surface. It is glazed with multiple layers of dry matt glaze with oxides creating a stony, weathered, rock-like surface as if dug up from the earth or sea.
Fired to 1230°C.
