This pod is hand-coiled with a buff grogged stoneware which I have then carved into around the middle. It is glazed with multiple layers of mainly dry matt glazes, oxides and stains to create a stony, weathered, rock-like surface with a slight gold sparkle, as if dug up from the earth or sea.
Fired to 1220°C.
