This pod has been hand-coiled in grogged pink stoneware and left rough and marked. It is finished with multiple layers of dry matte glazes, oxides, and stains, creating a stone-like surface with tones of soft blue, lilac and ecru with subtle pink and speckles. It resembles something shaped and weathered over time by the earth or sea.
