This pod is hand-coiled with a white grogged stoneware with hammered marks in the surface. It is glazed with multiple layers of mainly dry matt glazes, oxides and stains creating a stony, weathered, rock-like surface with a slight sparkle as if dug up from the earth or sea.
Fired to 1230°C.
