This pod is hand-coiled with a pink grogged stoneware clay which I have then carved into and left rough and marked. It is glazed with multiple layers of dry matt glaze containing oxides and stains to create a stony, weathered, textured surface as if dug up from the earth or sea.
Fired to 1230°C.
