This pod is hand-coiled with a buff grogged stoneware which I have left rough and marked. It is glazed with multiple layers of mainly dry matt glazes, oxides and stains to create a stony, weathered, pebble-like surface with lots of sparkle as if dug up from the earth or sea.
Fired to 1230°C.
