This pod is hand-coiled with a buff grogged stoneware clay which I have left rough and marked. It is glazed with multiple layers of dry matt glaze containing oxides and stains creating a stony, weathered, rock-like surface as if dug up from the earth or sea.
Fired to 1250°C.
